Who am I?

“To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

Isaiah 61:3

I maybe young but I have vision and purpose that is being ruined by the prince of this world. I fight, I battle against him. I take up arms to change the world one person at a time. My battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers of darkness. All around is a world living with hatred and brokeness. I fight to restore what is broken and mend what has been cast aside. I declare war. I am a voice calling out, screaming, “prepare the way of the Lord”. I am weak, I am ill-prepared, I am vulnerable-but in Him I am strong and with Him I’ll move mountians.

Keep fighting, keep crying out for your generation, keep reaching out to the broken, one soul at a time… in Christ you will have victory!
It will never be easy. Some of your worst opposition will sadly come from the “church” realm, but there are those who will join you; will take a stand with you to fight for your generation.
It will be yours who carries the weight of the final battle before the Lords return, but ours is called to come along side of yours, to encourage, strengthen and equip… to fight along side you.

may Jesus bless you, younger sister in the Faith!
You may feel alone but you are not. I would welcome you in our life, and gladly stand beside you. I know what it is to be hurt, to suffer loss, to be broken and made anew by Jesus great mercy and love.
We see what you see, the masks, the facades, but behind many of them are other hurting souls, too afraid of rejection to show their pain
I pray you will find others near by who will. I believer they are out there; in every church, quietly hidden but sharing your desperate passion.
    Seek them out.
    They need you too!

    In Christ Jesus always,

    Susan

“Repudiate the world and all that is in it; close the innermost part of your soult o everyone; crucify your flesh together with passions and lust and, finding yourself in incessant prayer, select a narrow path which leads to eternal life.” – St. Theophil of the Kieve Caves

“Only struggle a little bit more. Carry your crosses without complaining; Don’t think youre anything special, don’t justify your sins and weaknesses, but see yourself as you really are; and especially, love one another.” – St. Macarius the Great of Egypt

“Whoever wants to hate the world must love God with the innermost depths of his soul, and acquire a constant memory of Him, for nothing can more strongly urge a man to renounce everything gladly and turn from wordly things, as from dung.” – St. Simeon the New Theologian

“Can you place your hope in the world? Whom has it not deceived? To whom has it not lied? It promises much, but gives very little. Only those who hope in the Lord according the words of the Prophet David, do not sin, i.e., they are not deceived in their hope!” – St. Anthony the Great

    and lastly:

“Live as though you are not of this world and you will have peace.” – St. Anthony of Egypt

I stumbled upon your blog after searching for verses about boasting in our weaknesses. I am so encouraged to see another young woman so in love with God. I’m 18 years old, so we’re not too far apart in age! (: My prayers to you sister!!
